This catechism is for children and new believers to memorize basic, Baptistic Christian doctrine. Much has been gleaned from older catechisms and revised for the contemporary learner. The question and answer format allow a parent or teacher to work systematically through the major areas of theology. This catechism has been written and illustrated for three types of children: the very young who cannot read; young children who are learning to read; and older children who are reading and have a greater capacity to memorize.
