Disaster Relief
Hurricane Helene has left widespread devastation in Western North Carolina, and the Christian impulse is to help. As specific needs are being assessed and made known, we are coordinating efforts as a church and in partnership with NC Baptists to provide relief where possible.
Right now, here are a few ways that you can partner with us in service:

If you would like to donate financially through Hickory Grove to disaster relief efforts, you can do so HERE. Select "Disaster Relief" as your fund to direct your donation.
If you would like to donate financially to Baptists on Mission relief efforts, you can do so HERE.
DONATE TANGIBLE ITEMS
Wednesday, October 2
We will be collecting tangible items today until 7:30 PM for our disaster relief teams and community members at both campuses. Box trucks will be in the parking lots for you to drop off these items. We are in need of:
- Disinfectant wipes
- Multi-purpose cleaner
- Window cleaner
- Heavy duty trash bags
- Bottles of Clorox
- Paper towels
- 5-gallon buckets
- New or used empty gas cans
- Cases of bottled water
- Gas gift cards
- Walmart gift cards
- Visa gift cards
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6
On Sunday, we will collect tangible items during our Sunday Worship Services. At our Harris Campus, items can be dropped off in the Welcome Center. At Mallard Creek, items can be dropped off in the Worship Center. We are in need of:
- Gas gift cards
- Walmart gift cards
- Visa gift cards
- Toiletries
- Personal hygiene items
- Baby wipes
- Diapers
- Formula
- Buckets

Hickory Grove's Disaster Relief Ministry, in partnership with Baptists on Mission, will be organizing ongoing volunteer teams to meet the current needs of the area. These teams will serve in a variety of capacities — tree work, mud-outs, cleaning out homes devastated by the storm, as well as removing debris.

- To volunteer with Hickory Grove, you must be a church member aged 6th grade and older. All minors must be accompanied by a parent.

PRAY
As you pray for Western North Carolina, here are somethings that you can be praying for:
- Pray for all those experiencing the devasting impact of Hurricane Helene as they begin to recover from the destruction.
- Pray for Baptists on Mission as they coordinate recovery efforts in the Western NC region, as well as the safety and stamina of volunteers as they serve the people in the region.
- Pray for Christ to be glorified in all aspects of the work being done in Western NC and for people to be receptive to the gospel amid the devastation.
