GriefShare Ministry
The Bible teaches there is a season for everything. Grief is a season we all face at some point in our lives. As believers, we should not walk in grief alone. We all know people who have suffered loss and need to grieve that loss, but for a multitude of reasons, they try to carry this burden alone. Our church desires to come alongside them to help bear this burden during this season of their lives. We are grateful that we can now provide the GriefShare program to the people of Hickory Grove.
A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
The group will meet on Tuesday nights from 6-8PM at Mallard Creek Campus in room 123. The next session will take place August 13-November 5.
