INTERNATIONAL Mission Board (IMB)

The International Mission Board (IMB) exist to partner with churches to empower limitless missionary teams who are making disciples and multiplying churches among unreached peoples and places for the glory of God.

2023 MISSION TRIP RECAPS

Ecuador; April

A team of ten served on a family mission trip to Riobamba, Ecuador with Katty Aguirre and One Heart Global Ministries. The team served in several villages providing shoes and food baskets with many opportunities to share the gospel. God continues to use Katty and her team to meet needs, evangelize, train pastors, and plant churches.  

Ecuador; June

Hickory Grove Baptist Church partners with One Heart Global Ministries and works alongside Katty Aguirre to minister to the people in the outlying Quechua communities in Ecuador. The team served the communities through boot distribution, biblical training, food bags and a soup kitchen. The team also continued the ongoing pastoral training program with area pastors.

Colombia

The Colombia mission trip was a partnership between Good News In Action, Hickory Grove Baptist Church and two other US churches. The team worked in the Bogota government district market and community neighborhoods, the goal being simply to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and watch God move in their lives.

Honduras

A team of 28 individuals served in Comayagua, Honduras, June 24 - July 1. The team helped lead ESL classes in an elementary school, conducted VBS at two local churches, and repaired a roof at the seminary. Our primary partner in Honduras is MEDA – Evangelical Ministries of the Americas.
