At Hickory Grove, we desire to be On Mission to our Neighbors: those we live, work, and interact with daily.
Ministries of Hickory Grove
Hearts & Hammers: A ministry of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, seeking to provide home access and mobility for people who are disabled or elderly, primarily in the building of wheelchair ramps and handicap railing installation.
Clothes Closet: A ministry of Hickory Grove seeking to assist those in need of clothing, shoes, and other apparel.
Food Pantry: A ministry of Hickory Grove that exists to meet the needs of our neighbors experiencing a food crisis.
Car Care: A ministry of Hickory Grove that provides routine oil changes for single women and widows.
ESL (English as a Second Language): A ministry of Hickory Grove, seeking to share the Gospel while providing English classes to our community.
Ministries Supporting Missions
Women On Mission: A monthly gathering of ladies committed to praying for and supporting missions and missionaries.
Wrapped in Love Quilting Ministry: A ministry that meets weekly to make quilts for those in need locally and throughout the world.
Prayer Shawl Ministry: A ministry that creates lap blankets to give to critically-ill church members, homebound members, nursing home residents, crisis pregnancy centers, as well as children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Dolls on Mission: A ministry that meets monthly to make handmade dolls for children and hurting hearts around the world.
Ministries Supported by Hickory Grove
Present Age Ministries: A faith-based nonprofit organization committed to combating the sexual abuse, exploitation and trafficking of teen girls. We equip communities to identify at-risk teen girls through prevention and awareness education and to support survivors through holistic, individualized care.
Queen City Pregnancy Resource Center: A ministry to women facing unplanned pregnancies that partners with the local church to serve her family, save her child and share the Gospel.
Gate Pregnancy Resource Center: A Gospel-centered organization whose mission is to minister to the needs of those facing difficult pregnancy decisions by providing hope, help, and healing.
Baptists on Mission/Disaster Relief: A ministry that provides organization, equipment, and strategy for Christians to help affected individuals/families rebuild their lives.
Live Sent: A Christian, volunteer-led, non-profit organization created to minister to our neighbors while providing tree services on their property.
