Summer Blast

Once known as VBS, Summer Blast is a reimagined ministry event that combines our favorite events—VBS, day camp, and summer camp—all rolled into one! Designed to reach kids with the gospel in our church and community, Summer Blast is a free event offering morning and evening sessions that will hopefully provide HG Kids with new opportunities to reach families in our church, neighborhood, and HGCS. 

This year’s theme is Magnified: Discovering the bigness of God in the smallest of things! Kids will be challenged to stand in awe of God’s spectacular creation and see how He keeps the whole universe going and growing, yet He still cares about what is going on in their lives. Kids will learn that they can be confident God loves them, and He will be faithful to keep His promises!
