Volunteer Opportunities

Ground 40 Christmas Party: Ground 40 is a ministry helping men transition back into the community from homelessness, addiction and incarceration, by using the gospel as the foundation for recovery.
- On Friday, December 20 at 5 PM, Hickory Grove will help host a Christmas Party at a Ground 40 location in Monroe. Volunteers are needed to serve dinner, provide music for a time of worship, hand out small gifts to the men and their families, and assist with clean up.

Ongoing Missions Opportunities

Hearts & Hammers: A ministry of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, seeking to provide home access and mobility for people who are disabled or elderly, primarily in the building of wheelchair ramps and handicap railing installation.

Food Pantry: A ministry of Hickory Grove that exists to meet the needs of our neighbors experiencing a food crisis.

Present Age Thrift Store: Present Age will be opening a thrift store in Concord and they are looking for volunteers to assist with sorting and hanging clothing to prepare for opening.
