Upcoming Missions Opportunities

• Clothes Closet Collection Day - March 9: Drop off your donations at the box truck in the parking lot at all three HG campuses on Sunday. 
  • We are accepting donations, concentrating on men's [small and medium] clothing, children's clothing, new socks, and new underwear. All items (except socks and underwear) should be new or gently used.
• Clothes Closet Volunteers Needed - March 11-15: Volunteers are needed to sort and prepare for our next Clothes Closet Neighborhood Shopping Event scheduled for Saturday, March 15. To register, click here.
  • Volunteer slots are available March 11-14 in the evening; and on the day of the event, March 15, in the morning.
  • Spanish-speaking volunteers are essential on the day of the event.
• Weekend On Mission - March 15: On Saturday, we will come together as a church to be On Mission to our neighbors. There are multiple opportunities to serve. To register, click here.
  • Clothes Closet: Help sort and prepare clothes as well as work our community shopping event on Saturday
  • Car Care: Routine oil changes for single women and widows
  • Groud 40: Assist with a renovation project on their recovery site. 
  • Present Age Ministries: Assist as they prepare for an upcoming church leadership conference.

Ongoing Missions Opportunities

• Hearts & Hammers: A ministry of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, seeking to provide home access and mobility for people who are disabled or elderly, primarily in the building of wheelchair ramps and handicap railing installation.

• Food Pantry: A ministry of Hickory Grove that exists to meet the needs of our neighbors experiencing a food crisis.

• Sports League Coach: An opportunity to invest in others through coaching youth basketball/Cheer, youth baseball/softball, and youth soccer.

• Present Age Thrift Store: Present Age will be opening a thrift store in Concord and they are looking for volunteers to assist with sorting and hanging clothing to prepare for opening.

• Outreach Teams: Mallard Creek members: join our Outreach Teams! We will meet every other Sunday at 5 PM to canvas and evangelize the neighborhoods around our campus.
