MALLARD CREEK CAMPUS
Please join us for the Coble Women’s Bible Study as we take a “deep dive” into the world in which the Apostle Paul and the early Christians lived and ministered. Our first three lessons in this eight-week study will be a look at the Crucifixion, the Ascension, and Pentecost in order to set the stage for our study of the early Church. Then, we will follow Paul as he travels and teaches throughout Asia Minor. Although God’s revelation is timeless and relevant to people throughout history, that revelation takes place in a cultural context—the unique circumstances and conditions—in which His people lived. Seeing firsthand the context in which God revealed His redemptive plan will lead us to a deeper faith and understanding of God’s story.

How can we hold onto assurance of our faith? How can we discern the truth from a lie? How can we know God loves us? In three short letters, the apostle John reminds an early church facing division, deception, and doubt to hold fast to what they know and to live like they believe it. In this 10-session Bible study on the letters of 1, 2, and 3, John, Jen Wilkin helps you see how two thousand years later, his words call to Christians in similar challenges to recall a great salvation and to abide in the truth. Led by Jenna Prince and Kerri Scarlett. Workbooks are available for purchase in the Harris Campus Bookstore. Limited childcare available.

The book of Acts is set within the larger story of the outworking of God’s plan to save for himself a people from every nation—the story that runs from Genesis to Revelation. Within its pages are dramatic accounts of the Spirit falling, the apostles’ preaching, conflict with Jewish opposition to welcoming in the Gentiles, and the invasion of the good news of King Jesus into the Roman Empire. Join Susan Manning and Tina Worley as you peer into the lives of the apostles in the days following the resurrection and ascension of Jesus. Workbooks are available for purchase in the Harris Campus Bookstore.
All studies and workbooks are available in the Resource Center.
